THE ANCHOR HOLDS
Text: Acts 27:29
INTRODUCTION: At the time of this text, Paul and those who sailed with him were in grave danger. A storm was raging, and at times it seemed that all hope of survival was gone. We are in a storm in this old world, and we too need an anchor that will hold. They are just drifting along with the tide. Thus we are in far more danger than Paul and those who were with him on the ship. Theirs was only a physical danger; ours goes a lot deeper and has eternal effects connected with it.
